This was our very last day of summer, the day before school started.. It’s kind of funny, and I laugh at myself, so I hope you do too. I have spent literally the entire summer learning about light, so maybe I’m updating this all backwards.. But when it come to my photos, and in celebration of my personal freedom ;), I really only just edit and post when I feel like it, so it’s just a tad humorous to me that I’m really inspired by cloud cover, and even, flat light..

This day was like a breath of fresh air.. We went to go visit our friends. Friends who really live well, who have a gorgeous garden and who are constantly teaching me how to let my kids be free.. To get messy..

This story is really about chopping rotten apples and making tea with them. I hope you like it 😉

The one above is one of my favorites.. It makes me laugh every time..

And here is Jen, a wonderful friend, who was my doula with little Autumn and has remained my friend ever since. I love her, and I love her children..! They are such a beautiful family and her kids are truly little gems.

Goodbye to summer, hello to the school year. I can’t say it’s been an easy transition.. But we’ll get there. These photos have been on my mind, so I’m happy to share them here..
